Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 270 Rush

Hello guys! We're at Day 3 of my Lipstick Week and I have another Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick, this one is in shade 270 Rush. Continuing to my tradition of being a bit late, this post is also close to the deadline. :)
Rush can be described as a medium pink-mauve nude. The color is very similar to my favorite nude MAC Velvet Teddy but a little darker and more brown.

Swatches: Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 270 Rush

Same with Delish, Rush swatched smooth and creamy on my hands. It delivered a very opaque color with only one swipe. A subtle shine can be observed but no shimmers.
I'm drawn to these kind of nudes. This have a bit more color and does not look concealer-like. This really delivered great pigmentation with one swipe, considering that this is a nude color.

Lip Swatch: Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 270 Rush

Little to no pressure was required to apply the lipstick. It just glides across the lips in one smooth motion.
This lipstick made my lips look perfect, even though its not. There were no patchiness and it did not settle on lines. Texture was a bit heavy for my liking but not to the point of it being uncomfortable. I guess for it to be "moisturizing" it needs to be creamy and have a bit of "give."

Overall: Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 270 Rush catapults itself into my top lipsticks. The color is perfect for a nude-lip look. Color payoff is awesome, texture is creamy and provides enough moisturization to dry, chapped lips. What it lacks in staying power, it more than makes up for in pigmentation and texture.
