Sigma Beauty Color Pop Brush Kit - "Features three makeup tools that are essential to dolling up a face. It has an eye shading brush that lays color on the entire eyelid, a blending brush to seamlessly blend eye pigments together, and a contour brush to emphasize the shape of the cheekbones. With this set in tow, you will have no problem putting your best face forward." - via sigmabeauty.com

Hello again. This another haul post featuring makeup brushes from Sigma. It's such a convenience that Luxola sells them as they are really hard to come by online, not to mention the shipping and fees you have to pay just to get them. (Although I'm not too happy with them jacking up their prices due to the high demand).

This brush kit has a really cute and fun packaging, which was what really got my attention the first time. This is also a fairly good bargain as a full-sized Sigma eye brush normally retail $14 each while their face brushes start at $22. The brushes in this kit are not full-sized nor travel-sized. They're just a tad shorter than the regular ones. They handle really well and are easy to work with. I think the length is just right as I sometimes have trouble using the regular-sized ones - the handles sometimes bump against the mirror because my face is so close to it (the joys of myopia).

E25 – Blending: Buff colors together onto the lid with added control for a well-blended effect.
E55 – Eye Shading: Place color across the entire lid for an even and strong application of product.
F40 – Contour: Use the angle to softly contour the cheekbone with blush or bronzer.

The bristles of all three are soft and don't scratch. The E55 eye shader has the right density to pack on color on my lids. It's also a good-sized brush (considering I have a small lid space) and I don't struggle in getting my eye shadows applied where I don't want them to be. I already use three travel-sized E25s right now, but another one is a welcome addition. They buff out color really well to achieve that seamless, smokey look. It's my opinion that you can't have too many blending brushes - they are workhorses and are helpful when you want to do a  quick eye look. Lastly, my favorite out of the three is the F40 which I use to apply liquid and powder blushes. The bristles are especially soft sized just right. The bristles are rigid enough not to splay and be all over my face, and they pack the right amount of pigment onto my skin.

The first time I opened the tin can, there was a hint of a chemical smell but that went away after I washed the brushes. So far, there have been no shedding and judging from my past experience with Sigma brushes, these should be just as durable and well-made.
