Kung Hei Fat Choy! Is it Thursday already? This week seems to zip by so fast I barely noticed. On a personal note, I have been (thankfully) sticking to my very early routine - waking up before 7am and doing an hour of yoga. With this, I feel that I am greatly improving my state of mind as well as feeling much better. I will be striving to keep this routine so that this eventually becomes a lifestyle. This will be a great start in time for the (Lunar) New Year.

Today I'm sharing with you my (mini) haul from Luxola. As you might already know, I'm mostly after the freebies whenever I order with them. They give out very generous samples most of the time and the one I got with this order is especially great. Here's a rundown of the items that I got:

I got this at a good discount so I figured why not? I opted for a more subtle, everyday shade. Glam Khaki is a darkened moss green with some micro shimmers. The color is perfect for casual, normal wear so I'm glad I bought this. On first use, this gel pencil is smudge-proof and water-proof and survived a few hours on my oily lids.

3 Concept Eyes Lip Color are a wide range of colorful and highly pigmented lip shades. They can stay on for hours without much retouching for most of the day. It’s easy to apply because of its creamy texture. Lip Color is comfortably housed in a matte black casing. Get it HERE.

If not for the big discount, this lipstick won't even be in my radar. Again, Luxola have seasonal discounts going on all the time. If you're patient enough, you can get items at very low prices. I got this for less than Php 300. This looks so luxurious and classy in person (maybe even worth the Php 1,000 price tag). The shade is a light peachy nude which (surprisingly) was very flattering on me.

3CE Skin Tone Control Primer in Mild Peach 30ml ₱ 1,242.00
This primer from Korea helps the foundation adhere better on the skin and prolongs the foundation’s longevity. It gives the skin a brighter tone and better looking finish. The primer will even brighten up dark skin tones and leaving a clean looking youthful skin. It even controls oily skin so makeup can last longer. Get it HERE.

3CE Skin Tone Control Primer in Mild Peach

I did not expect great things with this primer. Again, I was lured by the very steep discount so I figured there's nothing wrong trying out something new. It's not always that I'm satisfied by something I try the first time. I was really impressed with this primer. It effectively brightened my overall complexion and kept me oil-free for hours, all without feeling heavy or greasy. This is really worth the price tag.

Mirenesse/Luxola Exclusive Set, GWP- This gift set was part of a Valentine promotion Luxola had. It's the main reason why I ordered (yet again) at Luxola. I really wanted to try out Mirenesse and I figure that they would give out generous samples in this set. I was not mistaken.

First Impressions: I am loving everything in this particular transaction. The gel pencil was of quality and checks off want I want from an eye liner - smudge-proof, water-proof and stay on lids and waterline. The lipstick was also a good purchase, the color was very flattering and the formula turned out to be smooth and moisturizing. I also liked the primer. I only tried it once but so far so good - it brightened up my face and kept the oiliness at bay. The star of the show was the Mirenesse Mascara - it made my lashes look long and full, all without looking fake. I have so much love with this product that I'm actually willing to pay full price.
