Hey guys. How are you all doing this Hump Day? My elf Studio HD Blush review series continues. Yesterday, I had Headliner and today, I am reviewing "Superstar."

Superstar can be described as a medium peachy coral. I detected little shimmers on the product but that did not really translate on the skin so the effect/finish was still matte. This peachy/coral shade would suit almost all skin tones as it does lean too warm nor too cool.

 

I have problems with the texture and formula of this particular shade. I don't know if I got a "dud" but the blush was much drier than Headliner and it it took a lot of effort to blend out. I was thinking that maybe the shimmer particles was what made the blush more dry than the other two that I have. Also, no matter how many times I shake the bottle, the product that comes out was more "mousse-like" rather than creamy and emolient.

While the formulation needs a lot to be desired, the color is really pretty and wearable. It just brightens up my face and flatters my skin tone. Same as Headliner, you need to be careful with applying too much product else you might end up looking like a clown. *_*

- Affordable

Cons:
- Needs more work in terms of application
- Drier formula, not very blendable
- Makeup novice may find this product tricky to apply
