Hey there guys. I feel like I am finally getting my schedule on track right now. I had some free time so I did a quick eye look using Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color. I had featured a different shade from this line (see: Lavande) some tme ago. Today, I have another shade from the same Spring/Summer 2015 Collection: Fog (BR727

Fog (BR727) is described as a "silver gray" but it's much more complex than that. Due to it's shimmering quality, the color changes with light. It appears a wispy silver grey at first glance but as I play with it under different kinds of light, I see shades of taupe, hazy grayish silver and sometimes leathery light brown. Shiseido has this shade under BR (brown) and I can see why - this color is a great neutral whatever it appears to be.

The formula is consistent with my experience with Lavande. It's smooth, blendable and applies evenly. Despite the lighter shade, this packs on some major pigmentation. I only needed a single swipe to get a pretty wash of color. If you want a more dramatic look, the formula also allows for building up the color to your desired intensity.

This feels lightweight, almost next to nothing on the eyes. I usually expect a hint of grittiness whenever I use glittery shades due to the shimmers but I don't with this one. The product just glides on effortlessly across the lids.

I don't bother with any brush when applying this product - I just use my fingers. I love how this is very easy to use and perfect in the mornings when I'm usually on a rush. This needs a few seconds to set and once it does, it's virtually budge-proof. It will last the whole day looking as vibrant as when you first applied it.

Despite the shimmery effect,
Fog is a great neutral color for use in any
occasion. This polished, sophisticated shade is a perfect addition in
your every day makeup arsenal especially with it's fool-proof, on-the-go
application.
