Hey guys Happy Monday. It's Election Day here in the Philippines so everyone is kind of in a happy-frenzy mood. I've been in hibernation from blogging to get a clear mind on my voting decisions. Now that the voting is over, I can now resume to focusing my attention on the trivial things. *_*

I got this nipple (lip) balm as a sample from Sephora Philippines. I've heard some good things about this particular lip balm so I chose this as my GWP. This product as suggested by its (funny? awkward?) name was first intended for nursing moms who suffer from chaffed, irritated nips due to breastfeeding. This secret weapon has been passed down from mothers to makeup artists who arbitrarily have been using this product as a multi-purpose moisturizer.

Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips is a yellowish balm with very thick (almost solid), tasteless, scentless formula. It looks similar to good ol Vaseline in those sense, minus the stickiness and goopiness. Unlike your typical petroleum jelly, this sinks into the skin readily and doesn’t feel oily.

My lips have been on the drier side and they sometimes crack and flake when I don’t moisturize. I applied this balm on my dry lips and let it sink in for a few minutes before proceeding to slough off the dead skin. This definitely does a good job of getting rid of all the dry, peeling skin minus the irritation. I applied this before sleep and I wake up with soft, plump, healthy-looking lips.

I like how comfortable and light this feels on. Because this does not look oily and doesn’t feel greasy, this is a perfect base for any lipstick and more especially, for matte lipsticks. I’ve only tried this as lip balm but reading from the description, you can definitely use this in a number of ways. This is a multi-purpose product that works well and has 100% natural ingredients.
