TGIF everyone. I'm happy to be posting again even though this will be
a short (but sweet) review. I think I will be focusing more on
featuring skin care products in the next few days as I have not been my
usual makeup self these days. I don't have the energy to apply more
than the bare minimum to not scare anybody when I go out. First up is
from a new(er) brand, Dewytree. This is my first product from them so I did a few googles to find out more.
About the Brand:
Dewytree is inspired by the crystal-clear image
of dewdrops and the vitality of trees. The brand's name and its slogan,
"Nature Recipe," also represent its commitment to using only fresh
ingredients that are fully disclosed for customer benefit. A naturalist cosmetics brand, it into nature’s immense healing power by creating beneficial skincare
products that enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Utilizing and refining fresh ingredients found in nature, Dewytree helps
heal your skin for a healthier, luminous complexion. All Dewytree
products are dermatologist-tested and entirely manufactured in Korea. via

Truthfully, I would not have bought this one if not for the cute packaging and the very affordable price (but mostly for the cute packaging). I always appreciate how Asian beauty products take packaging to the next level. The bamboo-like packaging of this gel is unique and whimsical. I can imagine (and believe) that the product came "fresh" from an actual bamboo itself. *_*

I am quite familiar with Aloe gels and have used quite a few but this is my first try with any Bamboo product. I think they have a similar texture and feel to it. The gel is cooling and became watery upon contact to the skin. It soothes minor hot flashes, skin redness and irritation. It was also readily absorbed and moisturized my skin without the sticky, clammy feeling. I like that this has a mild (almost herbal) scent.

This is quite a versatile product and you can apply this on pretty much everywhere - face, lips, hair, hands, and body. You can mix this with any of your beauty products (BB cream or foundation) for added skin benefits and a lighter, more luminous effect. If you have minor sunburn, this bamboo gel would definitely help soothe the irritation. I would recommended this product for people looking for a multi-purpose product. This is especially helpful for me as a quick pick me up whenever I am feeling hot and sticky on humid days and need some refreshment. This is perfect as a light moisturizer for people with oily skin while those with dry skin can layer this under a more moisturizing cream product.
