Hello guys. Hope you are enjoying what's left of the weekend. Mine was kind of low key with most of it spent at home, catching up (binge-watching!) on my TV shows and sleeping. I haven't had much sleep because the past week,  I was watching tennis until the wee hours of the next morning.  *_*

Anyway, along with the irregular sleep schedule and almost non-existent skincare, my skin suffered breakouts. The dreaded pimples crept back so I was desperate to stop the onslaught before it worsens. I did some at-home pampering yesterday. These two products are what I have been using regularly to keep my skin clog-free and oil-free.

This scrub is an affordable (Retail Php 179 at Watsons) option for those looking for a natural facial scrub which is gentle enough to use everyday. The apricot grains in this scrub are fine, so they don't hurt yet provide ample exfoliation to get rid of dead skin cells. My face comes out refreshed, clean, and supple after each wash. I feel that this helps with getting rid of all the blackheads on my nose and keeps my pores clog free. It certainly kept blemishes at bay ever since I've used this a month ago.

This is one of my favorite face mask at the moment. I first got to try a small sample of this face pack from Sample Room and I liked it so much that I looked for it at Watsons (Retail: Php179 for 100ml). First off, the scent can be a bit overwhelming of you're not used to strong scents. But (!) I do like the natural, herbal aroma of this mask and don't really mind it. It's quite soothing, considering you will be smelling it for almost half an hour as you wait for it to dry.

You only really need a small amount to cover the entire face as the consistency is spreadable. It has some grainy texture on it but it don't cause any abrasion as you put it on. The mask is also quite cooling (you can stick it in the fridge for a few minutes before use if you want a really cold mask) as soon as you apply it. After about 20 minutes, it is completely dry. To remove it, I spread a warm, wet face towel over my face and let the mask "melt" a bit before gently toweling the mask off . This way, I don't have to wash my face especially when it's after a workday when my eyes are tired.

Himalaya Herbals neem face pack really does a great job of removing deep-seated dirt and unclogging my pores. Along with the neem scrub, both products keep blemishes and black heads at bay. Even my dreaded hormonal pimples are kept at minimum (a couple of small ones have crept up, but is now slowly healing). This mask leave my face clean and soft, and brighten up my complexion.

People with normal to oily skins would greatly benefit from the two products. Even those with drier skin can also benefit from the purifying and skin brightening effect. I also love that the company (Himalaya Herbals) promote natural products, free of chemicals like Paraben and SLS/SLES. On top of that, their products are quite affordable.
