Hey guys! Happy Monday to all. It's been since I've done a makeup review and I had some time to take some pictures and test drive some makeup last weekend and I'll be sharing them with you this week.

Sleek i-Divine Eye Shadow Palette in Oh So Special

First off is a palette from Sleek Makeup. This set of eye shadows feature beautiful shades of soft pinks, browns, plums and nudes with mixed matte and shimmery finishes. The shades are versatile for day and night use, from simple looks to sultry smokey eyes.

If you can remember, I had reviewed a couple of Sleek iDivine palettes in the past: the limited edition Arabian Nights and Sunset. Both palettes really impressed me so I expected nothing less with Oh So Special.

Sleek i-Divine Eye Shadow Palette in Oh So Special - Bow

Bow - a light beige vanilla with a matte finish. This one is rather chalky and dry. I also had problems with application as this doesn't stay put on my skin. One of the two shades that's a dud in this palette. *I had to swatch this on my fingers as this doesn't apply well and doesn't show up on my arm.

Organza - a medium rosey pink with shimmery finish. Very soft and blendable and a dream to apply. The color is opaque with just one swipe.

Ribbon - a light, medium coral pink with a matte finish. A bit powdery but still workable with good pigmentation.

Gift Basket - a medium copper bronze with a shimmery, almost metallic finish. Very opaque and pigmented, easy to blend and buildable.

Glitz - a medium dark bluish pewter grey with a shimmery finish. Very soft and blendable and a dream to apply. The color is opaque with just one swipe. One of my favorite shades in the palette.

Celebrate - a dark deep, blackened eggplant plum with a shimmery finish. Also very soft and blendable and a dream to apply. The color is opaque with just one swipe. Also one of my favorite shades in the palette.

Pamper - a light peach pink with a matte finish. The texture is similar to Bow: dry and chalky with poor pigmentation.

Gateau - a medium dusky plum with shimmery, metallic finish. A very beautiful color with great texture and consistency. A dream to apply and very pigmented.

The Mail - a light medium nude tan with matte finish. A good color as a base. The texture is somewhat dry but still had good pigmentation.

Boxed - a medium chocolate brown with matte finish. Pigmentaion is good, buildable color and very blendable and easy to work with.

Wrapped Up - a medium brown purple with a matte finish. A beautiful shade, with good pigmentation, great texture and easy to work with.

Noir - a medium, deep black with a matte finish. A tiny bit chalky but have great pigmentation. Easy to blend out and very buildable.

I did a couple of eye looks to test the shades and the different finishes from the palette. All in all, the colors are wearable and works with a lot of looks from daytime to more sophisticated evening look.

This first look is day and office appropriate but I added a hint of rosey hue to achieve a softer, romantic vibe.

The second look features a simple smokey gradient using my favorite shade (Glitz). This look can be worn on formal occasions but I think can also work during the day paired with nude lips.

Wrapped Up (brown purple) on middle lid
Glitz (pewter grey) on outer lid and crease
Noir (matte black) to fill in eyebrows

Overall: This eyeshadow palette features shades that are very versatile. Sleek's strength is in their shimmery formula as those colors apply smooth, opaque and pigmented, very blendable and  buildable without the dreaded fallout. The matte shades struggle in both pigmentation and texture, as they are chalky, dry and prone to fallouts. Despite a couple of problem shades, this palette would be worth checking out if only for the beautiful, shimmery shades like Glitz, Celebrate, Organza and Gift Basket.
