Hello everyone. Gong Xi Fa Cai! I'm back again with another lipstick review. This one is not new as I have done a sneak peek months ago but it's only now that I have the inclination to do a proper review. *_* I'm not too excited with this line from Maybelline, which I think is a half-ass attempt to jump into the liquid lipstick bandwagon. The shades they have are very limited, and (IMHO) also not too flattering. They already got their Vivid Matte line, which was very good, so maybe they should have just added more shades to that collection.

Swatch: Maybelline Lip Studio Color Jolt Matte Intense Lip Paint in 08 Flaunting My Pink

 08 Flaunting My Pink is yet another pinky-red among the many pinky-red lipsticks I have in my stash. For some reason, it swatched more red on my arms but registered as more of a pink on my lips/face. The shade is a brightened (reddish) pink with a semi-matte finish.

Pigmentation is great and I get full coverage with just a single swipe. Unlike the other shade, Don't Pink With Me, application for this one was a breeze. I get a smooth and even color with minimal tugging. This also left a stain, which was hard to remove (even with some oil-based makeup remover).

On lips: Maybelline Lip Studio Color Jolt Matte Intense Lip Paint in 08 Flaunting My Pink

Another pro for this lipstick is the texture, which was creamy and lightweight. The formula was very comfortable on the lips and wasn't drying, though I wouldn't say that it's moisturizing. The color stayed put for several hours (up to 6 hours).
