Hello everyone. Hoping you are all enjoying your weekend. I have been up in the wee hours of the night the past few days due to tennis scheduling so I have a bit of time to finish up reviews. For today, I have the shade Bedtime Flirt from NYX's Lip Lingerie line. The entire collection features nude shades catering to different skin tones so you can choose from a wide range of shades from your typical nude beige to a more darker, red-browns.

Bedtime Flirt is described as a "red-toned pink." It's a medium mauve rose-beige with warm undertones and a flat matte finish. This shade is a great my-lips-but-better color and can be a great everyday lipstick for most skin tones. On me, the shade is subtle yet adds enough pop of color. It's very flattering against my yellow-tone skin. Since this is a nude shade, this can also be complimentary with a smokey eye.

This liquid lipstick has a silky, mousse-y rich consistency that feels lightweight. It applies creamy but dries down to a true flat matte. As soon as it dries, you can expect minimal transfer, it's pretty much budge- and transfer-proof.

Pigmentation is exceptional and you only need to apply a couple of thin layers to get opaque coverage. One thing to note is that you will need to exfoliate and prep your lips so this can apply evenly and smoothly. Otherwise, because of the flat matte finish, it can emphasize cracks and dry patches on your lips. This didn't settle on any lines, flaked nor smudged.

This stayed put for several hours (up to six hours) barring heavy meals and oily food. It felt comfortable on the lips and was not too drying, considering that this is a matte lipstick. It can take some effort to remove this lipstick on the lips but a good micellar water will definitely do the trick. Bedtime Flirt has been a staple on my makeup bag these days as it's just very easy and comfortable to wear and pairs well with most makeup look.
