Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a great start of the year. It has been months since I have updated but with the new year coming, I sure will be making the extra effort to do more reviews. First up for the year 2020 is this Belo Micropeeling Toner.

Benefits:
- Exfoliates skin to allow the whitening actives to penetrate deeper
- Reduces the appearance of stubborn dark spots
- Eliminates impurities, dirt and makeup residue

Kojic Acid - the most popular whitening agent used in Japan.
Tranexamic Acid - is ideal for stubborn dark spots that do not respond to other skin lightening ingredients.

My skin has been acting up and developing pimples along my right jawline. I think this might due to hormones but it has been three months now and the marks and a couple acne are still there. I have been using skincare containing acids to address the pimple marks and hopefully heal the acne.

I bought this toner from Belo to try if it could help with my skin issues. In two weeks of using it, I didn't really notice it helping with healing my pimples. I do notice some improvement with lightening some of my blemishes.

While this toner is affordable and able to lighten marks, I have a couple of issues with it. First is it smells strongly of Kojic with a mix of alcohol and flowery fragrance. My nose gets sensitive due to the smell, although it does dissipate in a few minutes. Another con is this toner stings. When applied on my sensitive areas (i.e. pimples, cheeks and undereyes), I feel a slight stinging sensation.

I think this toner is ideal for those with oily, less sensitive skin. If you are looking for something that can help with lightening up blemishes, then this toner is an affordable option. For me, this toner is not a good buy as it feels harsh on my skin, especially since I have been using acids.

Pros:
- Lightens up marks and blemishes
- Effective active ingredients
- Cleans and tones skin
- Affordable and readily available

Cons:
- Harsh on sensitive skin
- Strong fragranc
