This cleanser comes in a no-nonsense and simple, flip-top plastic tube. The product inside is a clear gel with fine granules of white, brown and black micro beads. The creamy consistency prevents it from being too runny. You can gently massage the cleanser in circular motions to remove oil and dead skin. The granules are tiny and doesn't hurt when applied.

After every use, my skin really feels very clean, soft and supple. The cleanser makes my skin naturally glow, having been cleaned deeply yet gently. It doesn't irritate my skin and doesn't make my skin even slightly red (unlike some physical exfoliators which may be too harsh). After a few weeks of use, I have noticed a more even skin tone. My oily t-zones has also been less oily and I have noticed less blackheads and whiteheads.

This cleanser has a a mild, fresh smell so it did not irritate my nose. You only need a pea-sized amount to do serious but gently cleansing on the face. The scrub looks grainy and gritty but it isn't. The granules are just enough so you feel that you have exfoliate without it actually causing any irritation. This scrub also didn't dry up my skin.

The Body Shop Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator

This exfoliator is gentle enough to be used daily. Personally, I use this every other day, or whenever my skin feels gritty and uneven. It has also helped preventing and healing my pimples and breakouts.

This is a great scrub if not for the presence of some chemicals (SLS, Alcohol, salicylate) and microplastics. While the exfoliation for this cleanser is not microbeads but from Jojoba beads and olive stone, it does list Acrylates Copolymer as a stabilizing ingredient. Having said that, this is by far one of the best physical exfoliator I have used. I would recommend this for oily-combination skin types while those with dry skin can use this sparingly.
