WONDOLLY Vivid Velvet Lips

Hello everyone, happy Monday! Let's start the week right with a Sneak Peek of these lipsticks from Korean Beauty brand, Wondolly. This is their Vivid Velvet Lips lipstick. There are six shades in this range and I've got five of them: 01 Matilda, 02 Dorothy, 03 Emma, 04 Amy, and 05 Julie. I didn't get the last shade which was a bright pink because I didn't think I would get to use it.

Wondolly Vivid Velvet Lips in 01 Matilda

01 Matilda, a bold classic red, perfect for any occasion. This is a blue-based true red which instantly brightens the face. The shade is flattering on most skin tones.

Wondolly Vivid Velvet Lips in 02 Dorothy

02 Dorothy, a warm red with pink undertones. I find that this is very similar to Matilda, the first shade. The small difference that I see is that this one is a bit pinker. Otherwise, both swatches on my arm look almost the same though they might look different when applied on the lips.

Wondolly Vivid Velvet Lips in 03 Emma

03 Emma, a chic nude with brick brown undertones. This shade is the one that I gravitate towards. This is a light-medium pinky brown nude, which reminds me of MAC Velvet Teddy or maybe MAC Kinda Sexy. I would imagine this color would suit most people but maybe would wash out those with darker complexions.

04 Amy, an MLBB everyday pink. This classic shade is a medium blue-toned classic pink that would should suit most skin tones. Compared to MAC Please Me, I would say that this color looks brighter.

Wondolly Vivid Velvet Lips in 05 Julie

05 Julie, a pretty muted coral for girly vibes. This shade is a a medium bright coral that looks more orange on my yellow-toned complexion. This color would suit those with lighter skin tones more.

WONDOLLY Vivid Velvet Lips

Overall, these lipsticks are very pigmented, with opaque coverage in one or two coats. I have a semi-matte velvety finish. They don't feel as lightweight as I would like, as you can definitely feel that you are wearing lipstick with these on. I guess you can apply them as a light wash or stain so they don't feel as heavy on the lips. I would also prefer them to be more moisturizing as described as my lips did feel dry after a few hours of wear.
