Hey there guys. How's your week so far? I am really making an effort to do more regular reviews so please bear with me if my posts are not as current as they should be. *_* I will blame the rather gloomy and rainy weather as the reason as to why I am inclined to be in a hibernating mode. :D

Let's take a break from all the lipsticks. For today I'll review one of Colourpop's blush (they call it Super Shock Cheek), Cheerio.

This shade is described as a deep cranberry red with warm undertones and a satin finish. I have a penchant for bright and bold blush and looking at the pan, you could say that Cheerio is as bold as you can get. Don't be intimated though as the color is actually flattering across all skin tones. I really like the deepened rosy red color of this blush. It would be perfect to give anybody a natural-looking flushed cheek in this colder weather.

Cheerio really brightens up the face without looking overly unnatural. I can detect subtle shimmers on the pan but it doesn't really translate once it's applied on the skin. The satin finish just gives enough "glow" for that lit from within effect.

This blush is very pigmented, with opaque and buildable coverage. As you can recall, I have reviewed another Colourpop blush (Between the Sheets) a while back. Comparing each other, both have the same texture and feel. It applied smoothly and evenly. Because of the creamy formula, it is also easy to blend out so if ever you go overboard, you can easily use a stippling brush to soften the color.

The mousse-like cream-powder hybrid consistency feels very lightweight. Also, with the deeper shade, you could expect this blush to stay on. It wore well and long and still looked good as new after over eight hours. It stayed matte and streak-free throughout the day.
