Hello everyone. I have the whole day off today so I had some time doing some swatches and taking photos of some makeup that I had been testing out lately. Today's review is a long time coming as this Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet was part of the sneak peek I had featured some time ago. Also, expect the rest of the shades' reviews to come out in the next few days. :)

Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in Fawn Rose No. 09

What it is:  A statement-making, matte-creme lip colour with a comforting, whipped texture. Joining the Lip Velvet collection, Liquid Lip Velvet provides a light-as-air feeling and a cushion-soft sensation upon application. This product is free of lanolin and is formulated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates.

Fawn Rose No. 09 is a light, muted pink with warm undertones and a creamy, satin finish. This kind nudey shade tended to wash me out but Fawn Rose has enough pink in it so it looks flattering against my yellow undertones. It is very pretty and understated great for low-key days when I just want some color on my face but not look too made up.

Swatch: Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in Fawn Rose No. 09

This liquid lipstick has a satin finish and does not completely dry down to a flat matte so you can expect some transfer.  I like that it has a soft sheen as it makes my lips full and moist.

On lips: Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in Fawn Rose No. 09

This lipstick has great pigmentation so even with some transfer, there is still enough left on the lips so you don't need to reapply or retouch. Fawn Rose applied smoothly and evenly and didn't settle on any lines. The mousse-y formula is lightweight and comfortable. This lasted about four hours on me (light meals) and wasn't drying on the lips.
