MAC Lipstick in Mehr (Matte)

Hi everyone. It been awhile! Hopefully, I can get back on track with updating this blog despite the busy schedule. For today, I have a review of one of my favorite makeup: a MAC lipstick. This one is a mini lipstick version (little MAC) of Mehr.

Swatch: MAC Lipstick in Mehr (Matte)

Mehr is described as "a dirty blue pink" in a matte formula. This shade is a medium pinky nude with a hint of blue undertones and a slightly matte finish. On me, this applied as a nude-pink. The shade is similar to Please Me, with Mehr being more brown, less pink and less bright. This is definitely an everyday color that would have versatile use.

On lips: MAC Lipstick in Mehr (Matte)

Consistent with MAC's matte lipstick formula, this lipstick is a one-coater, with one swipe giving you excellent color-payoff. It's highly pigmented and have opaque coverage. It applied smoothly and glided on easily across my lips, despite the matte formula, which is "creamier" than your typical matte lipstick.  The color payoff is somewhat buildable.

Mehr felt very comfortable on the lips. The lightweight formula and soft, velvety texture was non-sticky and the color didn't settle on my lip lines nor emphasize any dry patches. Because of the matte finish, wear time is above average with up to four hours through a light meal and a drink.
