We shed light on the need to add nutrient-rich, plant-based, whole foods to our daily diet, to supply our body with what it needs to thrive, to boost life, to heal and maintain itself, and to fight what we have accepted as “normal” -- low energy, difficulty sleeping, difficulty getting up in the morning, constant cravings, unmanageable weight gain, dull and aging skin, low immunity, depression, and eventual serious diseases pegged to "old age" (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer's, among others), which are actually more of the outcome of misinformed daily decisions on diet and lifestyle accumulated over time. Generous sizes of the Starter Pack A and chia seeds from The Superfood Grocer
Hello! Today, I will share with you my recent haul from The Superfood Grocer. These are organic, natural food supplements that claim to give you lots of benefits. I decided to try them out in a bid to have a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

I ordered their Superfood Starter Pack A (includes Maca Power, Malunggay, Cacao Nibs, Coconut Sugar, Camu Camu) and a pack of Organic Chia Seeds. The order process was smooth and easy. I paid through Paypal and after 3 days, my order arrived.
Making a "fruit" Superfood smoothie for the first time
I was excited to try them out so even though I didn't have any greens and vegetables, I decided to make a fruit smoothie with bananas and grapes.
Fruit Super Smoothie Topped with Cacao Nibs and Chia Seeds
I blended the grapes, bananas, 1/4 tsp of Maca Power, 1 tsp of Malunggay, 1 tsp of Coconut Sugar and 1/2 tsp of Camu Camu with 2 cups of cold water. I didn't add any ice. It didn't turn out very green because I didn't add any vegetables but I guess it would do for the moment. I topped it with raw cacao nibs and some crunchy chia seeds.

The smoothie turned out to be not to bad. I can't say that it was delicious but it wasn't bad tasting either. I mostly tasted the banana and a hint of grapes. There was no sign of any unpleasant taste. I would assume that if you mix your favorite fruit or vegetables, they would taste okay. I would buy my greens later and start on my green smoothie tomorrow morning as breakfast.
The Green Smoothie Revolution:
- More energy (waking up feeling energized, not sluggish)
- Less cravings (from superior nourishment)
- Faster recovery
- Balanced hormones (no more menstrual cramps for women & milder menopausal symptoms)
- Glowing skin (from the inside out)
- Super immunity from disease
- An overall Supercharged, more vibrant you
I can't say much about the effectiveness of this because I only had the smoothie once. Hopefully, I could see the promised benefits in the coming days and weeks as I slowly integrate this into my diet. I'm hoping to lose a bit of weight the healthy and safe way. I'm also hoping to feel healthier, have more energy and have a decent sleeping habit. For more Information: www.thesuperfoodgrocer.com
