Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in 912C In The Flesh
Hi again. This lipstick post comes a few hours ahead of my usual time because I was able to wake up earlier today. Yey! For Day 4 of my Lipstick Week series, I have my favorite Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in In The Flesh.
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in 912C In The Flesh
Given its name, I expected In The Flesh to be a nude color. But it's not really nude per se. The color can be described as a medium pink-brown mauve, with warm undertones. It comes off as more rose-pink as opposed to my usual pink-brown nudes.
This is a deep color to be considered nude for fairer skin tones but could definitely work for NC20/25 or deeper. Of course, for it to look nude would entirely depend on your coloring and how pigmented your lips are.

The color is still very pretty. Swatched on my hands, I realized that I already have similar shades (see below for comparisons). Still, this color would give a MLBB look but with more rosy color.

In The Flesh provided a very opaque pigment and delivered full coverage in one swipe with no observable patchiness. It doesn't result to any flakiness on the lips.

The color swatched true when I applied it to my lips. Application is effortless despite it being a matte formulation. The finish is matte but it will feel satiny on your lips, especially if you apply a balm before you apply the lipstick.

Overall: Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in 912C In The Flesh follows the footsteps of its other siblings in the Mega Last line. Application is smooth and creamy, and does not emphasize lip imperfections. It's a medium pink-brown mauve color that could work as my-lips-but-better lipstick for many people. The color is very opaque and delivered full coverage in one swipe with no observable patchiness. People who prefer some moisturization would need to wear a balm underneath or a gloss over it.

*Color comparisons. Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in 912C In The Flesh color is a much deeper pink-mauve compared to the MLBB shades I have.
