Hello everyone. It's another rainy week with another typhoon but I'm set to spend the weekend at the beach. Hope the weather would get better soon. Sunscreen is a staple product to use everyday, whether you're at the beach or not. I've been trying different ones lately. First up is the Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream. Technically, this is not a sunblock but I use it as such because of the high SPF.

Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream SPF 50

This BB cream has a creamy, almost watery consistency which spreads smoothly and evenly on my skin. The shade is suitable for those with light-medium skin tones but might create a white for those with deeper complexions. This BB cream has ultra light consistency which can even out your skin but don't expect it to cover blemishes or spots.

One thing I noticed with this is it oxidized a lot on me. Once I swatched it on my skin, it almost instantly turned darker. On the plus side, this BB cream was still able to provide a brightening effect as well as neutralized my red patches. After two weeks of use, I did notice some lightening of my dark spots and blemishes. A minor con for me is the strong citrusy scent which is prevalent whenever I open the tube. It takes a few mintues for the smell to dissipate.

The product last a few hours (up to four hours) on my oily-combination skin. My makeup stayed put and didn't slide off on top so this can as also be used as a primer or tinted moisturizer. Despite the smell, I see myself reaching out for this BB cream on a daily basis as it is very comfortable and lightweight on the skin and didn't grease up on me.
