Hope you are all having a great weekend. Today's review features one of my staple facial cleanser from popular Korean brand COSRX, their Lox pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.

Most cleansers tend to be more on the naturally alkaline (pH of 6-12) because alkalinity is what helps remove grime and dirt. COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

As with the name, this cleanser is a gel formula. The white clear gel foams up and lathers well (though not as much as most foaming cleansing) and you only need a pea size for the entire face. I mostly use this in the morning as it helps get rid of oil and dirt on my face. I feel that this cleanser is very gentle on my skin and it never feels tight nor dry after every wash.

I also like the tea tree almost herbal scent. It smells natural and don't irritate my nose on the few minutes that I'm lathering up my face. The scent also doesn't linger so even those who might be sensitive (I certainly am) can tolerate it.

This cleanser can be a good choice for those looking for gentler formulas. My oily-combination skin feels clean, hydrated, smooth and plump after every use in the morning. It also gets rid of any oil accumulated during the night.

What I like about this cleanser is that this never feels harsh on the skin. I get that satisfying squeaky-clean feeling without it drying up my skin. The BHA (Betaine Salicylate) and acids in the ingredients also helps with improving skin tone and texture and overall complexion.

I don't think this is ideal for those looking to get rid of pimples or blemishes as the ones that I had as I was using this was slow to heal. I guess this is so mild that it doesn't help with acne. I would recommend this to those who have sensitive skin and yet looking for added benefits from their cleansers. Also, this mild cleanser is not ideal for using alone to remove heavy makeup especially eye makeup as this does sting.
