Hello there. How's your week going so far? Getting right to the review, I have a lipstick from Kris Aquino's collaboration with local beauty brand Ever Bilena. Her line has expanded to a considerable collection which started from two or three shades to now having various products and shades. For today, I have a retractable bullet lipstick in the shade Love, one of two of the original shades of the Matte Matic Lipstick (the other is the pinky Life).

Love is a medium true red with blue undertones and a creamy matte finish. The shade is basically your average blue-based red lipstick that will suit most skin tones. The color is flattering and brightens up my face. Reds can be bright and attention grabbing, but this shade is muted enough that its wearable, even on an office setting.

Pigmentation is great, with a single swipe achieving a full, opaque coverage. The color can be buildable, though additional layers would be barely noticeable since the lipstick is already pigmented. Even with minimal pressure, the lipstick glides smoothly and evenly. I noticed no patchiness whatsoever.

The formula feels comfortable on the lips due to the creamy yet lightweight texture. Because of the formula, the finish is more on the satiny-matte side rather than being a true flat matte although I can't see any shininess. Without a lip liner, there was some transfer of color. It's also not budge-proof.

It didn't settle on any lip lines. I feel like this was not as drying as most matte lipsticks so I didn't need a balm before applying this. Longevity was average as the color stayed on for up to four hours, and then faded evenly. It left a light pink-red stain on the lips.
